At gstr1calculator.in, we prioritize the privacy and security of your business data. This policy clearly explains how your data is handled when you use our tool — including our calculator (which never stores your files) and our optional invoicing feature (which stores limited data, only when you choose it, as required by GST law).
We have no technical capability to store, retain, or later access your uploaded marketplace reports — even if we wanted to. Here is exactly how that data flows:
This applies regardless of whether you generate an invoice — your underlying sales data is never part of what gets stored (see Section 2 below for what invoicing does store).
Before you complete your payment, you can choose between two invoice types:
If you choose a B2B GST Invoice, we store:
Why we store this: Under Section 36 of the CGST Act, 2017, every GST-registered business — including us — is legally required to retain invoice records for 72 months (6 years) from the due date of filing the annual return for the relevant financial year. Storing this data lets your invoice qualify as a valid tax document for your ITC claim, and lets us meet our own GST record-keeping obligation.
If you choose a Generic Invoice instead, none of your GSTIN or business address is collected — only the invoice number, amount, and payment ID (needed for our own accounting, and in case of a refund or dispute).
We do not collect or have access to: your GST portal login credentials, your uploaded sales/returns files (never stored — see Section 1), or your bank account, UPI ID, or card details (these are handled entirely by Razorpay, never by us).
We use SSL/HTTPS encryption on all connections. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking scripts. No personally identifiable data is collected through cookies or trackers.
All payments are processed through Razorpay, a trusted third-party payment gateway. Current service fees are:
We do not store your card, UPI, or banking details — these are handled entirely by Razorpay. We only retain the Razorpay payment ID and transaction status (Success/Failed), linked to your invoice record where applicable, for accounting and refund purposes.
All payment transactions are governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
If your payment is deducted but your report is not generated, please email us at [email protected] with your Transaction ID.
We will verify your payment within 24–48 hours and either regenerate your report or process a full refund. For full details, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
No. Your files are first processed entirely in your browser. The extracted data passes through our Cloudflare Worker only for calculation — held in volatile RAM, never written to disk or database. All of it is discarded immediately after results are returned to you. This is separate from invoice data — see below.
Only if you choose to generate a B2B GST Invoice — an optional feature for buyers who need to claim Input Tax Credit (ITC). In that case, we store your GSTIN, business name, address, and state as part of the invoice record, as required under Section 36 of the CGST Act, 2017. If you choose a Generic Invoice instead, we do not collect your GSTIN or business address at all.
No — it's entirely optional. If you don't need to claim ITC on this purchase, choose the Generic Invoice and none of your GSTIN or business address is collected.
Invoice records (where a GST invoice was generated) are retained for 72 months (6 years) from the due date of filing the annual return for the relevant financial year, as required under Section 36 of the CGST Act, 2017. This applies only to invoice data — your uploaded sales files are never stored in the first place.
Email us at [email protected] with your Transaction ID and error screenshot. We will verify and resolve it (report or refund) within 5–7 business days.
