Refund & Cancellation Policy

At gstr1calculator.in, we are committed to delivering accurate and reliable GST data processing tools for Indian e-commerce sellers. Since our service is entirely digital in nature, this policy clearly defines the limited circumstances under which a refund may be requested.

Our Quality Commitment

Our tool performs a multi-stage file validation check before payment is initiated — verifying your file format and structure compatibility in advance. Because we ensure your file is processable beforehand, successful report generation is highly probable. Refunds are therefore reserved exclusively for unforeseen technical failures within our processing engine — not for user-side issues that are preventable at the validation stage.

1. When is a Refund Applicable?

A refund may be considered only in the following documented technical failure scenario:

  • Your payment was successfully processed via Razorpay, but the tool failed to generate or deliver your report due to a technical error within our system (e.g., server-side processing failure, Cloudflare Worker timeout, or payment confirmation received but report not returned).

All refund claims are subject to verification. If the failure is confirmed to be on our end, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

2. When is a Refund NOT Applicable?

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind: You no longer need the report after payment, or your business requirements have changed.
  • Duplicate service obtained elsewhere: You have already received a report from a CA, consultant, or another tool and no longer require ours.
  • Unexpected tax liability: The calculated output shows a tax figure (higher or lower) that differs from your expectations. Our tool processes data exactly as present in your uploaded files — we do not alter or influence calculations.
  • Incorrect or incompatible file input: Report generation failed because of an incorrect file format, incomplete data, unsupported marketplace template version, or user error during upload — not a fault on our system.
  • Report successfully delivered: Once the report has been generated and delivered (or is available for download), no refund will be issued regardless of subsequent circumstances.

3. How to Request a Refund

If you believe your case qualifies under the technical failure clause above, please follow this process:

  • Timeline: Contact us within 24 hours of the transaction.
  • Required proof: A screenshot of the exact error message encountered on our platform.
  • Payment details: Your Razorpay Transaction ID (found in your payment confirmation email).
  • Contact: Email all of the above to [email protected] with the subject line: Refund Request – [Transaction ID].

Requests submitted after the 24-hour window or without the required proof will not be eligible for consideration.

4. Cancellation Policy

Since this is a one-time digital service (not a subscription), there is no concept of "cancellation" after a payment is made. Each transaction is for a single report generation. If you do not wish to proceed, please do not make payment — the tool allows you to upload and validate your file before any charge is applied.

5. Pricing Reference

Current service fees are:

  • GSTR-1 Calculator — Monthly Filers: ₹99 per report
  • GSTR-1 Calculator — Quarterly Filers: ₹249 per report
  • E-commerce P&L Calculator: ₹149 per report

Pricing is subject to change; the amount shown at checkout at the time of your transaction is the applicable price.

6. Governing Terms

This Refund Policy is supplementary to our Terms & Conditions. In the event of a conflict, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Assam, India, in accordance with the laws of India.
